“This painting is deeply spiritual. I aimed to capture the essence of a nature or plant spirit with a human face, paying homage to Leonardo da Vinci’s La Scapigliata (The Lady with Dishevelled Hair). It is said that nature spirits are guardians of animals and plants, much like our own guardian angels.
This piece radiates peace, love, and motherhood. It feels almost like a modern-day icon, where the traditional mother and child are reimagined as a caring cat mother and her precious kitten. Through this artwork, I seek to express the beauty, tenderness, and quiet power of nature.”
